Lillibett
has 25 years experience in the Manufacturing Industry on Information
Technology Management and Quality Systems complemented, with 8 years in the
Banking Industry on Technology Governance & Risk, and Business Continuity
Management.
Currently,
Lillibett has been involved on multiple consulting contracts for the Energy,
Chemical, Aerospace and Banking industries. Mostly focus on the areas of
Business Continuity Planning, Technology Risk Management, IT SOX Compliance
Assessments, CoBit and ITIL Service Management.
As Vice
President of Technology Risk Management for a leading financial institution,
Lillibett was the leader in creating the Corporate Business Continuity
framework. She introduced a comprehensive approach to Business Continuity
Management by promoting the necessary awareness and commitment through all
levels of management and by creating a manageable plan that works on
mitigating the impact of planned and unplanned events. She also expanded the
Business Continuity process to include preventive measures, increasing
operational resilience with the objective to optimize the enterprise agility
and protection.
Lillibett
has been highly involved in Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) initiatives. In
this responsibility she led multiple consulting projects in relation to
Business Continuity Planning, IT Governance, Compliance and SOX Preparedness.
The many years experience and research on CoBit Framework allowed her to use
the Maturity Model effectively to evaluate and enhance IT processes, achieve
optimal controls and established target maturity levels for Sarbanes-Oxley
and other regulatory requirements.
Prior responsibilities
include Information Systems Manager for key institutions such as Alcon
Laboratories, Eli Lilly S.A., General Foods-Kraft, and Caterpillar. At
these institutions she applied her expertise on IT project management, strategic
planning, budgeting, system migration, systems development, and quality
assurance. Major projects included computer system validation, evaluation and
implementation of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), multiple
platform/systems, technology operations and DR sites, and legacy & client
server applications.
In addition,
Lillibett is a board member of the Information Systems Audit and Control
Association (ISACA) and Past President of the Association of Contingency
Planners. She holds certifications as Business Continuity Professional
(CBCP), Information Security Manager (CISM), Information Systems Auditor/ANSI
(CISA) and ITIL-Business Service Management to complement her M.B.A from the University of Houston.
